COTIDIANA VITAE is a tourism , culture and education that aims to bring to the general public daily life of the inhabitants of the Roman city of Italica in the second century AD and Ancient Rome in general.
This equipment is not a museum , nor an interpretation center , not a Visitor Reception Centre ... This is an ETC , and its main objective is to reproduce as faithfully as possible ( theming ) different areas of everyday life in Roman times.
This has been documented techniques and materials that were already in use for over 1800 years , with spaces that have been reproduced located in Pompeii , Herculaneum , Host, Merida , Herrera, and of course Ecija Italica.
COTIDIANA VITAE since birth has been characterized as a project continually growing and evolving, expanding every day the different ways of approaching the past, in a rigorous and enjoyable :
Rigorous : The design and subsequent construction of the equipment involved about 40 professionals from various specialties ( archeology , Food , History , Education , Design , Fine Arts , Architecture ) , and various institutions and groups (with special mention of the University of Sevilla and the Ministry of Culture of the Junta de Andalucía) .
Amena : Our biggest effort has focused on bringing the way of life of antiquity to different audiences and users COTIDIANA VITAE in a fun and accessible. Under the premise that ... Learning is fun!
A scenario rigorous, detailed and accurate is not enough to achieve the objective in this Topic Center . Content is necessary according to the "container" .
